1. Introduction
The Solution Consulting FZCO (“TSC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner and IT consulting company based in Dubai Silicon Oasis, United Arab Emirates, serving clients across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights available to you.
2. Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to personal data we handle when you:
- visit or interact with our website at www.thesolutionglobal.com;
- contact us or request a consultation, demonstration or proposal;
- register for our webinars, events or campaigns;
- are a client, prospective client, supplier or partner;
- apply for a role with us; or
- engage with us on social media.
It does not cover third party websites we link to, which have their own privacy notices (see Section 15).
3. The Laws We Follow
As a UAE entity, we process personal data in line with Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “UAE PDPL”) and its regulations. For individuals in other jurisdictions, we also align with applicable international standards, such as the EU GDPR, where relevant.
4. Our Two Roles
How we handle personal data depends on the context:
- As a data controller. For our own activities (website, marketing, enquiries, client and supplier relationships, recruitment) we decide why and how data is processed. This Policy governs that processing.
- As a data processor. When delivering implementation, support or managed services, we may access data within a client’s own systems. There the client is the controller and we act only on its documented instructions under the relevant agreement; that client’s privacy notice, not this Policy, applies.
5. The Personal Data We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Identity & contact data | Name, job title, employer, business email, phone, address, and the contents of forms you submit. |
| Commercial & relationship data | Services requested or received, proposals, contracts and our correspondence with you. |
| Recruitment data | If you apply for a role: your CV, work history, qualifications and references. |
| Technical & usage data | IP address, browser, device, operating system and pages viewed, collected via cookies. |
| Marketing & event data | Your communication preferences and the webinars or events you register for or attend. |
| Client project data | Personal data within a client’s systems that we access when delivering services, handled on the client’s instructions (see Section 4). |
We do not collect sensitive personal data through our website; please do not submit it unless we have specifically requested it.
6. How We Collect Your Personal Data
- Directly from you, when you complete a form, request a proposal, subscribe, register, apply or correspond with us.
- Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website (see Section 8).
- From third parties and public sources, such as networking platforms, referral partners, event organisers, directories and Microsoft.
- While delivering services, where a client grants us access to its systems (see Section 4).
7. Why We Use Your Personal Data
We use personal data only where we have a lawful basis under the UAE PDPL, to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide what you request;
- enter into and perform our contracts and manage the relationship;
- operate, secure and improve our website;
- send marketing, newsletters and event invitations where permitted (see Section 12);
- run webinars and events, and manage recruitment;
- meet our legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations; and
- establish or defend legal claims, and analyse and improve our services.
Our lawful bases are your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate business interests. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 14).
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function correctly, remember your preferences and measure traffic. These include strictly necessary cookies (needed to operate the site), performance and analytics cookies, functional cookies, and marketing cookies. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser or our cookie controls, though blocking some may affect how the site works.
9. How We Share and Disclose Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it, only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards, with:
- Microsoft and technology vendors, for licensing, support and solution delivery;
- Service providers and other processors (hosting, cloud infrastructure, email, CRM, marketing, analytics and IT support) acting on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations;
- Professional advisers, such as legal, accounting, audit and insurance;
- Authorities and regulators, where required by law or valid request; and
- Parties to a business transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.
We require any processors we engage to protect personal data and use it only on our instructions.
10. International Data Transfers
We operate across the UAE and beyond and use cloud platforms (including Microsoft Azure) that may process data in other countries, so your data may be transferred outside the UAE. We do this in line with the UAE PDPL, for example where the destination offers adequate protection, where contractual safeguards apply, or where the transfer is necessary for a contract or you have consented. Your data remains protected to the standards in this Policy wherever it is processed.
11. How Long We Keep Your Personal Data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Retention varies by type: client records are kept for the relationship and a reasonable period afterwards, while unsuccessful applications are kept briefly. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
12. Marketing Communications
Where permitted, we may send you information about our services, webinars and events. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us (see Section 18). This does not affect communications needed to manage an existing relationship.
13. How We Protect Your Personal Data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure cloud infrastructure and staff confidentiality. No system is completely secure, but we maintain procedures to manage any suspected breach and notify individuals and authorities where the law requires.
14. Your Rights
Subject to the UAE PDPL, you have the right to:
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Information & access | Know whether we hold your data and obtain a copy, with details of how it is used. |
| Rectification | Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected. |
| Erasure | Have your data deleted where we have no lawful reason to keep it. |
| Restriction | Ask us to pause or limit certain processing. |
| Stop / object | Object to direct marketing or statistical processing and ask us to stop where the law allows. |
| Data portability | Receive data you provided in a structured, machine readable format. |
| Automated decisions | Object to decisions based solely on automated processing that have significant effects. |
We respond within the timeframes set by law and may verify your identity first. Exercising your rights is normally free, though we may charge or decline for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
15. Third Party Websites and Links
Our website may link to third party sites and services, including social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their notices.
16. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not children, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always published here with a revised “Last updated” date, and we will take reasonable steps to flag significant changes.
